AMBER ALE
PALE
DESCRIPTION:
Starr Hill Amber Ale is multiple award-winning recipe from Master Brewer Mark A. Thompson. This English Brown Ale is noted by its drinkability. The body of the beer is light with a slightly sweet finish. The residual sweetness is achieved by the addition of 15% caramel malt. A touch of chocolate malt is added for color and subtle nutty flavor. The beer appeals to a wide range of beer drinkers, from the least experienced to the most sophisticated palates.

Dark Starr Stout is an award winning Dry Irish Stout. Winning the Gold Medal at the 1999 Great American Beer Festival. Dark Starr is dispensed with nitrogen to give a thick rich head with a velvety soft taste. The beer is noted by its Roasted Barley flavor and light body.

DESCRIPTION:
Starr Hill Weiss is an un-filtered German style wheat beer. The beer is made with equal parts wheat and barley malts, and fermented with a unique strain of yeast. Starr Hill Weiss is light in body yet complex in flavor. The yeast gives a distinctive flavor to the beer. The primary flavors are called Esters, and are described as tasting like Bananas or Banana taffy. The secondary flavors are called Phenols, and described as tasting like cloves or medicinal.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS:
Weiss beers are traditionally served during the summer months with a slice of lemon on the edge of the glass. The addition of lemon to this beer adds to the complex flavor and drinkability.
