Loudon's great 2024 show in London was recorded and includes new material of his own and some perfectly executed cover versions of songs by others. In 2024 Loudon played a short residency at Nell's Jazz and Blues in London. Because the shows were being recorded, alongside some of his current favorites, he took the opportunity to include some brand-new material of his own and a few perfectly executed cover versions of songs by others that he has admired over the years. The twenty-one tracks that made it onto this album make it an essential addition to the three previously released live albums that dot the discography of his fifty-plus-year recording career. As can be expected this is a fine example of the man doing what he does best. It is another chapter in this remarkable life that's been preserved to the artist's satisfaction to the extent that he is happy to share it with the world in the form of this NEW release. Loudon's first live album in over twenty years. Loudon's son, Rufus Wainwright, does a duet with his father on "Out Of This World"!

Without Fear, Without Shyness: Yves Doing Yves YVES’ New EP "I Did" This year, Yves did Yves, and Ha Sooyoung did Ha Sooyoung. The label “former LOONA member” is no longer needed. With the spring EP "LOOP" and summer single "Tik Tok", Yves confidently established herself as a solo artist. Earlier, Yves shared her journey toward inner peace and a desire to explore musical diversity. Less than half a year later, she’s ready to reveal a new side. Releasing on November 14, "I Did" conveys the emotions Yves experienced while seeking peace, expressing a deep inner self that may or may not exist. This time, it feels like Yves is acting out a drama or revealing hidden parts of herself. Once again, executive produced by MILLIC from PAIX PER MIL, with tracks split between MILLIC and IOAH, the album blends their unique sound with Yves’ dreamy vocals. PAIX PER MIL crafted this project as scenes rather than just songs, paying special attention to the music video, album art, and styling to create a deep, sensory experience. MILLIC shared, “Yves enjoyed creating this world together, and I hope we can show her as a singer-songwriter someday.” Through "I Did", Yves invites fans and music lovers to experience the music she truly wanted to make, her ambition, and the voice she sought, without holding back. Now, she’s finally doing it.

Limited silver colored vinyl LP pressing. Includes digital download. Since it's release in 2009 The Pains of Being Pure at Heart's self-titled debut has attained the status of a modern indiepop classic, and even more crucially a record that continues to have an impact well beyond the indiepop scene. As one of the key bands in Brooklyn's late 00s guitar music revival (alongside Crystal Stilts, Grizzly Bear, Vivian Girls, Frankie Rose and others) The Pains paid tribute to everything from C86 to early Slumberland, Sarah and Creation label pop, but with a distinct American flavor drawn from groups like Smashing Pumpkins and The Pixies. This, their debut album, is a brilliantly confident blast of fuzz, melody, tunes and buckets of youthful enthusiasm that was immediately recognized as something very special indeed. Preceded by 3 effervescent singles the album exploded immediately, going places that indiepop records and bands rarely do (like TV appearances on Carson Daly's and David Letterman's shows) and leading to several years of constant touring and the further release of two more well-received albums. Now on it's 15th birthday we're happy to bring this crucial album back for a new generation of pop fans, this time on dramatic silver nugget vinyl. A fitting tribute to a modern indiepop classic.

49 Winchester

Iii (Stic)

Vinyl: $29.98 UNAVAILABLE
Vinyl LP pressing. Includes sticker. "Hailing from Castlewood, VA in the heart of Appalachia, the five-piece 49 Winchester serves it up greasy, whether it's Southern fried rock, honky tonk country, sentimental moments tickling the fringes of Americana, or a version of soul that takes all of those influences and stews them. It's always Southern, but the variety of flavors you're served keeps you on your toes for 10 tracks. And eventually an album you start off thinking might be good for a quick hoot turns out running through a range of emotions you may have not been ready for, though you sure do appreciate the ride afterwards." - Saving Country Music

This is the first time that this 2003 masterpiece has been reissued on vinyl since it's original pressing over two decades ago! Grateful Dead archivist Dick Latvala considered this show to be the finest outing on the entire Spring 1977 tour, and, as any Dead Head knows, that is high praise indeed! At the time this was released on CD, the Dead weren’t sure a market existed (ha!) for three and four-CD packages, so this four-LP set leaves off eight songs from the show, but consider what songs are here: a phenomenal “Help on the Way”/”Slipknot!”/”Franklin’s Tower” comes after one of the definitive renditions of “Sugaree” and a terrific “The Music Never Stopped,” with the late, great Phil Lesh’s slithering bass leading the way in recording engineer’s Betty Cantor-Jackson’s mix. But sides E, F & G offer one of those sublime (and, in this case, never to be repeated) sequences of songs that only the Dead could pull off in concert; after the rarely-performed “Sunrise,” a medley of “Estimated Prophet”/”Eyes of the World”/”Wharf Rat”/”Terrapin Station” (a truncated version two months before its official release)/”Morning Dew” brings the show home, as Jerry Garcia’s soloing on “Morning Dew” reaches heights seldom attained even by him. This was a knockout release on its first very limited vinyl run (check out those resale prices), and we’ve improved on it with a fresh mastering job by Jeffrey Norman (in his own words, “the sound is better than the original heard on the Brookvale release”), and lacquer cutting by Clint Holley and Dave Polster at Well Made Music. Pressed on 180-gram black vinyl at the plant we’ve been using to great acclaim for all of our Grateful Dead releases, Gotta Groove Records, and limited to 2000 hand-numbered copies!

Vinyl LP pressing. Includes digital download. Colombian artist Ela Minus' 2020 debut acts of rebellion, felt intentionally small, as if pounding inside the club with late-night reverie, DIA is both introspective and expansive, the wide sweep of it's songs revealing more of Ela as person and producer than ever before. DIA is a record about becoming, from a process that entailed self-discovery at a deliberate pace to songs that seem to collectively ask where we go from here, long after we've been broken butlong before we intend to be broken forever. Throughout the 10 songs, mixed by Marta Salogni and mastered by Heba Kadry, the same team behind acts of rebellion, Ela seems to saddle a line between worlds of pop accessibility and experimental aplomb, her incandescent choruses always surrounded by meticulous and imaginative sonics.
