The Jesus Lizard brings its aggressive brand of rock to the stage in this concert from 1994. Though they broke up in 1999, the Chicago indie band remains an influence on musicians today, and this hard-rocking set is evidence why. In addition to this show from Boston's Venus de Milo venue, this release includes five songs from a 1992 performance at the legendary CBGB's.

The main program on this DVD, from a 1994 show in Boston, showcases a slightly more restrained Jesus Lizard than those who saw them live might expect. As anyone who saw the Jesus Lizard knows, "restrained" in this case means a lack of full frontal nudity, drunken rambling and random audience assaults from David Yow. Yow's still feeling it, staying up close and personal with the fans packed in front of the stage, and the five songs from a CBGB set two years earlier are notably more feral.
