The three-piece band housewife formed in 2001 in Austin, Texas. Their music is for fans of Sonic Youth, Pissed Jeans, Joy Division, Land of Talk and other post-punk/indie bands that mix noise and melody in high-energy bursts. Key performances at South by Southwest in 2004, 2005, and 2007 floored local and international audiences alike. The band's fourth release is an exhilarating EP entitled Triangulation distributed on the band's Domestic Junkie label. "This is what Douglass Coupland would've picked for the soundtrack of his novel Generation X.
